Soaring Club of Houston Proving Grounds
The Soaring Club of Houston is a full service club serving both those learning to soar, as well as the seasoned cross country sailplane racers.
The club is very active, flying every weekend throughout the year, weather permitting.
Task Days are held nearly every XC soarable day with anywhere between 6 to 15 pilots flying the same daily task. Tasks are scored using Winscore. In 2020 the club flew over 50 Task Days.
