KSA was founded in 1961 to promote the art & science of soaring flight in Kansas. We have 80 members and are looking forward to using Proving Grounds to help our members start flying cross country.

Soar Indy Proving Grounds

Soar Indy (aka Central Indiana Soaring Society) was founded in 1960 and is the largest soaring operation in Indiana.

We fly 3 club sailplanes in addition to 15 privately owned sailplanes based at our club-owned Alexandria Airport. During a typical season, members make about 1000 flights.
