When the military base is closed, we can fly. These are all weekend days, weekdays after 5 p.m., and on public holidays.

The club has more than 70 enthusiastic members. We have 7 gliders, a super Dimona as towplane, and a 4-drum MEL winch.

Our club has about 80 members, we own and operate a fleet of 8 gliders including 3 two-seaters and 5 single-seaters operating out of the Enschede Twente Airport.

Our goal with Proving Grounds is to introduce more club members into the fun of cross country flying, in an easy and fun way!

The club has seven gliders in its fleet and has 80 members.



The field is located in one of the biggest and most beautiful national parks in The Netherlands.



Because of the field elevation, good thermal conditions can be found near the field and long cross-country flights into Germany are possible.

We offer all SPL Training, we have 3 regular winch days a week and can fly all days of the week with help of our tow plane.

We offer all SPL Training programs. We mainly fly on the weekend due to airport restrictions and have a wish to turn more glider pilots into soaring or aerobatic pilots.
